AACR 102nd Annual Meeting Press Conference Schedule

ORLANDO, Fla. — The American Association for Cancer Research will hold its 102nd Annual Meeting at the Orange County Convention Center from April 2-6, 2011.

More than 18,000 people will gather to hear the latest innovations in basic, translational and clinical research. The AACR Communications Department has prepared the following press conference schedule based on the most exciting cancer research to be presented at the Annual Meeting. A full press kit with embargoed materials and teleconference information will be distributed on March 25.

Saturday, April 2:

10:00 a.m. ET “Drugs in the Pipeline: Emerging Therapies in Clinical Trials”
2:00 p.m. ET “Telomeres, Stress and Cancer Risk: Keys to Cancer Prevention”

Sunday, April 3:

1:00 p.m. ET “Cancer Discovery: AACR Launches Its Newest Journal”
3:00 p.m. ET “AACR Initiatives in Public Policy for 2011 and Beyond”

Monday, April 4:

8:30 a.m. ET “Innovative Diagnostics”
11:00 a.m. ET “Cancer Risk Factors and Genetics”
