Prevention 2010: Interview with Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Ph.D., AACR president, 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology recipient, Morris Herzstein professor of biology and physiology in the department of biochemistry and biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco

Keynote speaker Dr. Blackburn talks about her lecture, “Telomere Biology and Cancer,” and the implications of basic science research, an example being telomeres, for cancer prevention. She also discusses the need for increased attention to prevention and her concept of “cancer interception.”
